One.com has a very straight forward site which will get you started with a website in a matter of minutes. There are no major decisions to make and no confusing hosting options. There are only three plans, and the only difference between them is the hard drive size.
All plans include the following: unlimited bandwidth, unlimited email accounts, a photo gallery, web editor, blog, FTP, and a daily backup. All applications appear to be custom-made applications, not well known options like WordPress. There also doesn’t appear to be a content management system option available (meaning no Joomla, Drupal, etc).
The Small hosting plan is $1.45/month, Medium Plan is $3.00/month, and Large Plan is $5.65/month.

The feature list with One.com is small in comparison to most hosting companies. One.com is really looking to capture the beginner market in the world and does not make things complicated at all. All applications are custom built which means there is no support available outside of One.com. This also means you can not add some blog designs you may see or plugins for WordPress, etc. There is a “live demo” on the website, but it is nothing more than some pictures. The website they list as the demo site is only a photo gallery.

“Avoid one.com like the plague! they have disgraceful policies on automatically updating subscriptions and send minimal correspondence. I cancelled my subscription but due to it being after 10month and 5 days of a 12month subscription i was locked until 2011! I didn’t pay the fees as i was trying to rectify the situation with the admin team. And they sent the debt to a third party debt collection firm so in three months a bill of £19 went to £48!!! ” – Steve Davies

Verdict of this One.com Review
For someone looking to start up a website who has no previous knowledge of HTML, blogging, email, etc. One.com may be a good option for them. This site is really geared towards people who do not want a lot of options with their website. It is perfect for people who want to share their photos online or have a basic blog without getting too complicated.
For anyone else looking for a professional site, this is not the place for you. It is cheap, but there is no easy way to add WordPress, Joomla, etc. to your domain. Other hosting companies offer a lot more options when customizing your hosting package and make it dead simple to install advanced software.
I was feeling more enthusiastic about One.com until I read the customer reviews. Too many of the customers were complaining that their credit cards were automatically charged for renewal when they were not wanting to continue the service. More worrisome is how the unpaid bills went straight to a collection agency after a few weeks, not several months as is standard practice. One.com is routinely voted as one of the lowest rated hosting companies out there, so I would advise against using the site until there are more positive reviews.

Keep away from it. After 10 day not even public my website
I got the refund . But my domain is blocked for 3 months .I can’t even re_buy same Domain from another hosting site.
ABSOLUTE WORST HOSTING COMPANY I HAVE BEEN WITH EVER! WEBMAIL NEVER WORKS AND WHEN IT DOES, IT CRASH’S WHEN I SEND EMAIL TO CLIENTS, LEAVING ME TO RE-TYPE IT – WASTE OF TIME.
WHEN YOU TELL ONE.COM ABOUT IT, THEY SAY THEY ARE UPDATING THE SITE!! HOW CAN YOU BE UPDATING THE SITE 24 HOURS A DAY FOR OVER 2 YEARS NOW THAT STILL LOOKS THE SAME?

I have used one.com for a year now. They are fine in my experience, but it seems as though I’ve been lucky. Maybe I’m just used to crappy service! 🙂
